Amy Small is the SVP, Creative + Brand at Media Cause, a mission-driven digital marketing and creative agency that helps nonprofits grow and accelerate their impact. Before joining Media Cause and opening the agency’s Atlanta office in 2018, Amy spent 15+ years in the consumer advertising world, developing award-winning campaigns, digital activations, CSR initiatives, and strategic brand platforms for major global brands including Kleenex, Krispy Kreme, and Keurig.
Now, having found a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment in her professional life, she strives to bring the same consumer-minded insights and human-centered creative approaches to building stronger nonprofit campaigns across a full-spectrum of issue spaces, from educational and social inequity to animal welfare and homelessness. In all phases of her career, Amy's work has been recognized by the Addys, Webbys, Effies, New York Festivals, Graphic Design USA, as well as many other industry award shows.
In addition to her official work at Media Cause, Amy also serves as Program Director for the RiseUP Marketing Fellowship, championing greater access, opportunity, and diversity in the marketing and advertising industries. She frequently volunteers her time as a mentor through various industry programs, enjoys speaking at conferences and webinars, and has been a judge for the Webby Awards, Effie Awards, and The One Club Portfolio Review. She is also a passionate advocate of breaking down the barriers around mental health and wellness in our culture, and brings her personal studies of mindfulness, empathy, compassion, and resilience to her team and her work.
